Legal Disclaimer and Notice

Last Updated: February 2026

Please read this disclaimer carefully before using this website (cstforbabies.com) or engaging with any services described herein.

By accessing this website, booking an appointment, or receiving Craniosacral Therapy (CST) services from Rachel Stein (hereinafter referred to as “the Practitioner,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Legal Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the website or services.

1. Nature of Services – Not Medical, Diagnostic, or Therapeutic Treatment

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on, non-invasive complementary and alternative bodywork approach that aims to support the body’s natural ability to self-regulate and release tension patterns in the craniosacral system (the membranes and fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord). It is not a substitute for conventional medical care, diagnosis, treatment, or cure of any disease, illness, injury, or medical condition. The Practitioner is an Occupational Therapist and Craniosacral Therapist, not a licensed physician, pediatrician, nurse, physical therapist (in the medical sense), mental health professional, or any other type of primary healthcare provider. Services provided are educational, supportive, and wellness-oriented only and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, or cure of any physical, mental, emotional, or developmental condition in infants, children, or adults. We do not claim to diagnose, treat, mitigate, prevent, or cure colic, reflux, tongue tie, torticollis, latching/feeding difficulties, sleep issues, digestive problems, plagiocephaly, birth trauma, excessive crying, or any other infant or pediatric concern. Any perceived benefits reported by clients are anecdotal and individual; results are not guaranteed.

2. No Guarantee of Results

Every infant and family responds differently. While many parents report positive experiences (such as improved comfort, calmer behavior, better sleep, or easier feeding), no specific outcome is promised or guaranteed. You acknowledge that you are participating voluntarily and assume full responsibility for any decisions regarding your baby’s care.

3. Recommendation to Consult Qualified Medical Professionals

Always consult your baby’s pediatrician, family physician, lactation consultant (IBCLC), speech-language pathologist, ENT specialist, or other qualified healthcare provider before beginning any new complementary therapy, including Craniosacral Therapy, especially if your baby has been diagnosed with any medical condition, is under medical treatment, has undergone surgery (including tongue tie release/frenectomy), or shows signs of illness, developmental delay, or distress.CST is intended as a complementary approach and should never replace or delay necessary medical evaluation, diagnosis, testing, treatment, or emergency care. If your baby has a fever, difficulty breathing, persistent vomiting, unexplained weight loss, seizures, unusual lethargy, or any other concerning symptom, seek immediate medical attention.

4. Informed Consent

By scheduling or attending a session, you (the parent/legal guardian) provide informed consent on behalf of your infant/child to receive Craniosacral Therapy. You confirm that:
  • You have read and understand this disclaimer.
  • You have consulted (or will consult) appropriate medical professionals regarding your baby’s health.
  • You accept that CST involves very light touch and that your baby may experience temporary relaxation responses, emotional release, or brief changes in behavior (which are generally considered normal in bodywork).
  • You will immediately inform the Practitioner of any changes in your baby’s health status.
You may withdraw consent at any time during a session.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Practitioner, Rachel Stein, and any affiliated entities disclaim all liability for any loss, injury, damage, or adverse outcome (direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or otherwise) arising from:
  • Use of or reliance on information on this website.
  • Participation in CST sessions.
  • Any delay in seeking or failure to seek conventional medical care.
  • Any interaction with third-party links, resources, or referrals provided on the site.
You agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Practitioner from any claims, demands, actions, or causes of action related to the services or website content.

6. No Practitioner-Patient Relationship

Visiting the website, reading content, or booking a session does not establish a doctor-patient, therapist-client (in the licensed medical sense), or any other formal healthcare relationship. A professional relationship for CST services is established only after an in-person evaluation and mutual agreement at the first appointment.

7. Children and Minors

All services involving infants or children require the presence and written/verbal consent of a parent or legal guardian. The Practitioner reserves the right to refuse service if safety or appropriateness concerns arise.

8. Changes to This Disclaimer

We may update this disclaimer at any time. The date at the top indicates the last revision. Continued use of the website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law
